Chathurangapara is a village in Idukki district. It is actually near to the Tamil Nadu border. It's relatively near from muvattupuzha. There's a lot of wind mills. Once a visit to this place is nice. The place is also called kattadipadam due to the many number of wind mills. Trekking is super here. Nice weather if you visit in this time. Cool and warm mix climate.
It is an amazing place to visit. Though the view is pretty much similar to that of Ramakalmedu, it is an experience worth the effort. One can view windmills in close quarters and also experience the immense power of wind there.
The wind is so powerful that you would feel that with a bit more force, you would be off flying. Despite the road leading to Chathurangapara being in very poor condition, it is a must visit place especially if you are a nature lover
First experience of touching the base of a windmill and hearing the sound of the turbine mounted on a hill top. The drive is nearly upto the top and then one needs to walk a 30deg climb for say 200m and then we see Tamil Nadu villages deep down below and also some other windmill turbines far away in then plane.
Western Ghats separate the two states in fact the windmill is on Tamil Nadu land instead of Kerala. Good Photo shoot , picnic and fresh air view and any hill top is a always full of wind, so enjoy nature Ima green environment surrounded by hills , windmills and deep down planes.
